His efforts culminated in the liberation of Cuneo, which took place three days after April 25, on April 28. In those decisive days, Silvestro fought bravely in the streets of our city, deployed in the 20th and 21st Brigades of the Justice and Freedom group.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f0c13ce elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f0c13ce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote><p>Sylvester <strong>Pera<\/strong> Sasso, a tenacious and tough fighter in both name and deed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-34bd79c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"34bd79c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"p1\"><strong>His service to the community did not end with the Liberation.<\/strong><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-40e717e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"40e717e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p2\">Silvestro Sasso&#8217;s memory is not only linked to his heroic contribution to the Resistance. We also remember his commitment to keeping the family business alive during the difficult years of the conflict, demonstrating tenacity and a sense of responsibility.<\/p><p class=\"p2\">Immediately after the end of the war, Silvestro Sasso took over as <strong>alderman of the City of Cuneo<\/strong> for a year until the 1946 elections, devoting himself with the same fighting spirit to the reconstruction and rebirth of our city.<\/p><p class=\"p2\">On this day of celebration, we honor the memory of Sylvester &#8220;Pera&#8221; Sasso, an example of courage, dedication and love for his land, who knew how to fight for freedom and commit himself to the future of Cuneo.
