HISTORIES OF MEN – The Origins of Sasso (1926-1940s)
Every great enterprise is born from a vision. Ours took shape in 1926, when Silvestro Sasso, after receiving his license in electromechanics in 1922, founded the workshop that would give birth to Elettromeccanica Sasso.
These were years of tireless work, insight and courage. Between the 1930s and 1940s, the company grew and began to make itself increasingly known in Italy and abroad, building solid partnerships and intervening alongside prestigious industrial entities.
This is the period when technical skills are refined, knowledge expands, and maintenance becomes a key pillar. Innovation takes concrete form: the patent for the tension leveler becomes established in the market, standing out and competing with the most advanced solutions of the time.
This is the story of our roots. A story of men, ideas and determination.
